Every year my wife's family gets together for the holidays. This Thanksgiving we will be at her grandmother's house. Her grandma also wanted to switch things up, and have everyone bring a dish to help out with the cooking. I can't blame her at all, there's going to be about 20 of us there for dinner! The yummy food I posted here are the dishes My wife and I will be preparing. I'm making the homemade cranberry sauce and the cupcakes. Of course they are both sweet, sweet is my specialty. I know I mentioned this in my last post, but I'm so excited! I love having a reason to cook. I normally cook for every holiday, so it's nice to contribute. My dishes will be vegan, because I'm vegetarian, and I've been dying to try to make some vegan cupcakes. Of course I will let you guys know how they turn out. Do you plan on cooking anything? If so tell me about it!

  1. Everything looks so yummy! I love the sweets, too. I'll be making pumpkin bread, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and a creamy lime jello salad. The rest of the family brings dishes to share. I love holidays because it is a great excuse to cook and eat whatever we want!!

  4. I'm a terrible cook :/ I'm so excited though to hear how those cupcakes turn out! (my husband quite recently had to go vegetarian for health reasons, so hopefully this is a good recipe!)
