Things I'm Afraid To Tell You

Monday, October 8, 2012

That's right, I was lazy so I made a Vlog about it. There's a lot to talk about. I saw this a while back and it popped up again the other day on another blog, so I thought: let's keep it going! Here are some of the original posts : creature comforts She gives you the explanation on how this all started, which included blogging and twitter...no surprise there!

I tried to stabilize the image but it looks like I'm using one of those cameras they use in scary movies! My next Vlog will be at my desk...haha.

  2. Ohhh I LOVED watching this! You are just such a sweetheart! So down to earth. Thanks so much for sharing. I too have terrible terrible anxiety. Strangely enough I am cuckoo in a room of say 5 people ...but when I teach at events I am like...just so ALIVE! Teaching 40-90 women. It is so strange! Well I always say it...I'm a total weirdo! :)

We so have to meet up one day! :)

  4. I second the "Brave" comment. I don't think I could lay it all out there like you did. I commend you! You're an inspiration and I really felt a closeness listening to you. Don't worry, when we meet, I'll try my best not to make you feel awkward or get anxiety! haha :) I call myself an oxymoron and a walking contradiction, too. I am just a whole mess of things. Not just one way. I also like that you want to set a good example for your daughter on personal image/self love. That's just so important but I will still have my "woe is me" days as well. It's a girl thing. She'll figure that out as she gets older, but it's crucial to see that her mommy held herself together well. :)
Oh, I wanted to comment on the gay part. I honestly don't even like saying that. I'm with you. I just feel like once you know a friend's sexuality or anyone's for that matter, there's no need to bring it up or address it repeatedly either. It doesn't define them or change who they are inside. It's just part of them. I hope this makes sense. I have several gay best friends and a family member...I don't introduce them as such lol, you know. I dunno, I can't find the right words, but I agree with what you said.
P.s. You are so pretty! Your hair is like ahhh! I want my hair that color.

  5. @Roni thank you so much! I'm sure I'll be fine when we finally get to hang out...can't wait! I love that you brought up the whole gay thing...some people seem to make it awkward, like they constantly have to bring up the gay thing...lol...it's pretty annoying. As long as it's not offensive I usually just laugh it off. People can be so weird.
